Apple releases HomePod in Spain and Mexico
Apple has released HomePod in Spain and Mexico, adding Spanish language support to the Siri smart speaker without the need of an official software update.
Priced at 349 euros in Spain and 7,999 pesos in Mexico, when converted HomePod is priced slightly higher than it is in the United States, but that is due to value added taxes in both countries.
With the addition of Spain and Mexico, HomePod is now available in a total of eight countries worldwide. Apple initially released HomePod back in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia at the beginning of the year, with the speaker later branching out into Canada, France, and Germany in June.
The Apple Post reported earlier in the week that HomePod has been ranked as the ninth most popular smart speaker product in the United States, with an estimated four percent market share.
