Carpool Karaoke: The Series returns for season 2 for free through the Apple TV app
Carpool Karaoke: The Series is returning for season 2 starting on October 12, with new episodes to be released weekly for free via the TV app on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
Although Apple hasn’t yet released a list of the celebrity guests taking part in the new season, based on a trailer shared this week (below), we can expect Jason Sudeikis paired with Muppets, Matthew McConaughey paired with Snoop Dog, Weird Al paired with Andy Samberg, Nick Offerman and his wife Megan Mullally, and more to appear.
Unlike the original season of Carpool Karaoke: The Series which was available exclusively on the Music app for those with an Apple Music subscription, season 2 of the Carpool Karaoke spin-off will be available to everyone who has the TV app installed on their device.
The Apple Post reported earlier in the year that Apple had been licensed for a second season of the show. The first season of the show received mixed reviews, but presumably Apple is hoping by allowing more people to view the show it will grow in popularity amongst viewers.
