Apple releasing macOS Mojave on September 24
Apple has announced that macOS Mojave will be available to download on September 24.
macOS Mojave brings a range of new features to the Mac, including a fully redesigned Mac App Store, Dark Mode, Home app, Desktop Stacks, and more.
Dark Mode within macOS Mojave is an easy-on-the-eyes option allows users to hit a switch and turn the entire interface, including apps such as photos, Finder, Calendar, Mail, iTunes, Messages, Xcode, Pages, and more into a dark version.
HomeKit devices can now finally be controlled from the Mac with the addition of the Home app in macOS Mojave, a feature highly requested by many since HomeKit launched along side iOS 8. macOS Mojave also allows users to make group FaceTime calls; however, Apple has said that this feature will now be pushed back and won’t be available until later in the year.
macOS Mojave is available on the MacBook (Early 2015 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2012 or newer), MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 or newer), Mac mini (Late 2012 or newer), iMac (Late 2012 or newer), iMac Pro (2017), Mac Pro (Late 2013, plus mid-2010 and mid-2012 models with recommended Metal-capable GPU).
