Apple updates iWork apps with new audio recording feature
Apple updated Pages, Numbers and Keynote for iOS and macOS on Thursday, bringing a new audio recording feature that allows for recording, editing, and playing audio directly within documents, spreadsheets, and slideshows.
As tweeted by the official Apple Education handle, the update brings audio recording that has apparently been on the wish list of teachers and educational iPad users. The new capabilities allow students for example to record audio messages regarding an assignment, and allows the teacher to play back the audio while reviewing the work.
The updates are available now on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, as well as on the Mac App Store.
For all the teachers out there who've been requesting an audio recording feature in #iWork— we heard you loud and clear ? Announcing iOS #updates that give you the ability to record, edit, and play audio directly in a document or book. https://t.co/Nz1BujsmwN pic.twitter.com/5ZBvLpMg1n
