watchOS 4.3.1 reveals new Pride Apple Watch face launching next week
Apple appears to be launching a new rainbow inspired Apple Watch face for San Francisco Pride next month, with watchOS 4.3.1 revealing a secret watch face expected to launch publicly shortly after Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference next Monday.
Users have discovered that by fast forwarding time on their Apple Watch to next Monday (after the WWDC conference) a new animated face “inspired by the rainbow flag” appears. As spotted by 9to5mac.com, the multicoloured threads in the new Pride Apple Watch face move when the user taps the display, or moves their wrist.
Last year Apple released a ‘Pride Edition’ Apple Watch band at Apple.com and at Apple Stores worldwide. The bands were retailed in both 38mm and 42mm options for £49/$49, made from more than 500 threads which were “woven together in a unique, colourful pattern.”
