Ziggy Marley performs at Apple’s Earth Day Beer Bash

8-time GRAMMY-winning reggae artist Ziggy Marley performed live for Apple employees on Friday at the company’s Earth Day Beer Bash celebration, with Tim Cook making an appearance on stage to kick-off the festivities.
Apple is no stranger to Beer Bash celebrations. In December, Gwen Stefani was invited to help celebrate the holidays, and prior to that, Apple celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016 with a Beer Bash featuring Zane Lowe and other Beats 1 presenters.
The concert was held at One Infinite Loop (Apple’s old campus) rather than at Apple Park. Its unclear why Apple chose One Infinite Loop, however it’s possible this could have been the last celebration held here while finishing touches are being made to Apple Park.
After the performance Ziggy tweeted that this had been his first set fully powered by solar energy.
We’re celebrating Earth Day here at Apple. Thanks @ziggymarley for an inspired performance! ? ? pic.twitter.com/cuNvbzdbiA
