Apple opening first Austrian retail location on February 24th
Apple has announced that their first Austrian retail location will officially open to the public later this month on February 24th in the countries capital of Vienna.
Apple’s new store is located in the upscale shopping neighbourhood of Kärntner Straße, with Apple moving into the former store of fashion brand Esprit. Once completed the location is expected to be similar to Apple Schildergasse in Germany, and Apple Regent Street in London, with the company restoring the historic building in a way which preserves the architecture and cultural accents.
As with all new Apple Stores, The Vienna location will adopt the new store layout that’s been rolling out around the world, with dedicated areas that include the Genius Grove, The Forum, and The Avenue, aka various parts of the store dedicated to support, classes, and shopping.
