Thieves rob U.K’s flagship Apple Store
In a nighttime raid, thieves on mopeds robbed one of the U.K’s flagship Apple Stores. The group of 10 robbers allegedly threatened a security guard and made off with an assortment of iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches.
The Metropolitan Police were dispatched minutes after the break in. Two iPhone X handsets were recovered at the nearby King’s Cross subway station, but the criminals got away.
The store reopened as usual despite the scene the night before with no visible damage to the building.
Apple has declined to comment on the situation and a value has not been placed on the amount of devices stolen. If you have any information regarding the situation you’re asked to contact Metropolitan Police.
