Apple previews iMac Pro at Final Cut Pro X Creative Summit
Apple has given visitors at the third annual FCPX Creative Summit in Cupertino, California an early preview of the soon to be released Space Gray iMac Pro and matching accessories ahead of its public launch in December.
The iMac Pro was first revealed at WWDC 17 in June, described as their ‘most powerful Mac ever’ featuring a 5K built-in display, 8-core Xeon processors, Radeon Vega graphics, 32GB ECC memory, and 10GB Ethernet as well as four Thunderbolt 3 ports with support for up to two 5K displays.
As reported by French blog MacGeneration, attendees were able to use the machine in the careful supervision of Apple staff while sampling Final Cut Pro X 10.4 which will launch later this year. The iMac Pro will start at $4,999 in the United States.
