While the editing tools Apple provides within the Photos app aren’t anywhere near as advanced as the ones available when using outside editing applications such as Camera+ and Pixelmator, the tools baked into iOS allow everyone, even the complete novice, to achieve great results time after time.
So, let’s jump into it. From adjusting the exposure and brightness of your images to adding playful filters and effects, here’s how to edit images using the Photos app on your iPhone.
1) Open the Photos app on your iPhone, select the image you wish to edit and tap the Image Control Toggle as shown below.
2) Once you have pressed the Image Control Toggle, you can choose to crop, add filters, adjust the light and colour of your image, and more.
3) Hey presto! ? Once you’ve made your desired enhancements, tap Done and the Photos app will save your newly edited image to your Camera Roll which from there can then be uploaded to iCloud and shared.
